Therefore, to ensure comfort, it is necessary to maintain the footwear's hydrophobic layer (DWR). This layer will wear off over time and will need to be renewed using Nikwax Nubuck and Suede Proof™.

If you are active and wear shoes, moisture-wicking socks will keep your feet dry. However, if the footwear absorbs water and gets wet, its breathability will be reduced. The released vapor will not be able to escape through the material, causing sticky and moist feet.
