Mountain FFX PROFESSIONAL Thermos with Cup 0.9L
The Mountain FFX thermos is a global leader in outdoor thermoses. The thermos is designed to meet all requirements for mountain conditions: easy opening and closing, damage resistance, high insulating properties, low weight, and compactness (only 300 x 80 mm!).
The thermos is very lightweight. Without the non-slip ring and bottom protection, it weighs only 360g. Used by the Mountain Volunteer Search and Rescue (GOPR).
The thermos keeps hot drinks warm for a very long time - after 6 hours, the drink's temperature is still above 80°C (measurement conditions: initial drink temperature 95°C, ambient temperature 20°C). A characteristic feature is the narrow mouth with a diameter of 36 mm with a special double cap.
The perforated cup of the thermos is made of two materials of different hardness to prevent slipping when opening the thermos. The wide base ensures high stability of the cup and at the same time guarantees easy handling when removing the thermos from a backpack.
Opening the thermos is easy even with thick gloves. In case of dropping the thermos, the non-slip ring also serves as protection.
The double cap was designed to facilitate opening and closing the thermos. The inner part of the cap is equipped with a double thread of greater length. Thanks to this solution, it is enough to turn the inner part of the cap only half a turn to pour (standard caps need to be completely turned).
Furthermore, the cap ensures a smooth flow of the drink and is easy to clean.
The thermos is made of stainless steel. This type of thermos is often called "unbreakable" thermoses. The silicone bottom protection absorbs impacts when the thermos is dropped and protects the bottom from scratching.
