The provided temperature maintenance parameters apply to a full container, unopened for a specified time. Opening the container and partially emptying it results in faster loss of the initial temperature. To extend the temperature maintenance time, it is recommended to first fill the container with hot water and leave it tightly closed for five minutes, then empty it and fill it with the intended beverage or dish and tightly close it. If a cold product is to be stored, cold water should be used.
