Synthetic rope 10 mm x 25 m, Blue with thimble, MBL 8.2T
Our synthetic ropes are made of the highest quality material. It is polyethylene with very high molecular weight offering maximum strength combined with minimal weight:
* up to 8200 kg MBL (minimum breaking strength)
* rope terminated with thimble - possibility of using any hook
* highest strength-to-weight ratio
* very good abrasion resistance
* excellent material fatigue resistance
* good crush resistance
* low elongation characteristic
* limited temperature resistance (melting temperature 150°C)
* maximum operating temperature 70°C
* fiber density 0.97 : floating
Low rope elongation is very beneficial in cases of limited space for movement where any dynamic force resulting from elongation can be very dangerous, e.g. for winches, tow trucks, and mooring ships with heavy equipment.
Ropes made of HMPE fibers are particularly recommended where low weight and easy handling are of great importance, also in water transport for quick and safe mooring and towing.
The offered synthetic ropes are made in the braiding technology - 10 strand (standard EN ISO 10325:2010 - type T)
CONSTRUCTION - the braided rope consists of 10 elements, 5 of which are braided clockwise and 5 counterclockwise. This protects the rope from twisting, which is a very important asset during use. A special machine containing 10 spools of HMPE synthetic fibers is used to produce the rope.
