This is high molecular weight polyethylene offering maximum strength combined with minimal weight:

Low stretch ropes are very beneficial in cases of limited space for movement where any dynamic force resulting from stretching can be very dangerous e.g. for winches, tow ropes, and mooring ships with heavy equipment.
HMPE fiber ropes are particularly recommended where low weight and easy handling are of great importance, also in water transport for quick and safe mooring and towing.
