Mishimoto has developed a directly fitted intercooler pipe for the Jeep Wrangler JL 2.0L 2018-2023, allowing to maximize the performance of the turbocharged engine. Our kit replaces the weak factory intercooler pipe with a smoothly flowing and durable cast aluminum pipe. By smoothing out the irregularities, drops, and bends of the standard pipe, we were able to improve flow by 36 percent, resulting in a confirmed 16Nm torque and 7 HP power increase on the dyno. But power is not the only enhancement we made.
The pipe is made entirely of cast aluminum, providing greater heat resistance and high boost pressure durability. The included silicone connectors with DuraCore™ technology are built with five layers of silicone and heat-resistant fibers for increased durability and strength. The DuraCore™ inner lining is also more resistant to fuel and oil, ensuring greater longevity.
To add another layer of durability, this intercooler pipe has a wrinkled black powder coating for maximum corrosion and weather resistance. This cast aluminum intercooler pipe also allows for even greater customization and future upgrades. The thicker cast area at the end of the pipe enables drilling and tapping for everything from boost sensors to nitrous injection. We have also included a removable bypass valve adapter that allows the use of a standard bypass valve or aftermarket blow-off valves.
