OSRAM LEDguardian® ROAD FLARE Signal V16 is a warning light that flashes 360 degrees around the housing and is visible from a long distance - up to 1000 m. In emergency situations, it becomes crucial as it signals a dangerous road incident. Unlike a warning triangle, the ROAD FLARE attracts the attention of other road users to an unusual traffic situation through active flashing, distinguishing itself from a simple reflection of a warning triangle.
With 12 bright and durable LEDs with a color temperature of 2000K and 140 lm, it attracts the attention of others both during the day and at night.
The compact design allows you to store the warning light in an easily accessible place in the car. In case of an emergency, magnets allow for quick and easy attachment directly to the vehicle's roof. You don't even have to get out of the car; you can place it by reaching out through the window. LEDguardian® ROAD FLARE Signal V16 has been tested and approved in our certified DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025 environmental simulation laboratory for resistance to extreme temperatures, water, dust, and impact. OSRAM LEDguardian® ROAD FLARE Signal V16 has an IP54 protection class, is resistant to water, dust, corrosion, and pressure. OSRAM offers a 2-year warranty1) for this product.
OSRAM LEDguardian® ROAD FLARE Signal V16 meets all V16 regulations and has been approved as a warning light in Spain.
It is expected that from 2021, the V16 warning light will be widely used in vehicles in Spain, but it will coexist with the warning triangle for several more years.
It is also expected that more countries in the EU and beyond will follow the Spanish example and introduce V16 warning lights as mandatory equipment to provide better protection for the driver and other vehicle occupants.
