High-quality rooftop tent made to order for Escape company. Experience gained during expeditions allowed for the introduction of minor improvements that are hard to find in factory serial productions.
"Short" version - the entrance to the tent is slightly less covered than in the long version, in the case of the vestibule, the ladder entrance is located outside of it.
Floor made of aluminum filled with insulating foam, inside aluminum "honeycomb" painted white with a texture. The tent floor provides excellent insulation even in low temperatures. Comfortable 6 cm thick mattress with a removable cover on the floor. Windows have opening mosquito nets, external window shutters fastened with pins, and airtight closure from the inside. Entrance openings with mosquito nets and airtight closure. Adjustable ventilation at the top of the tent (with mosquito net) and a skylight window with mosquito net. Above the window, the awning has a professionally sewn foil. The tent is completely protected from unwanted guests (mosquitoes, insects).
The tent naturally comes with a waterproof cover, very easy to set up - full setup with windows below two minutes, without mounting pins in the shutters - a few seconds (tested in the rain).
Included shoe bag, the bottom part in the form of a mesh allows wet shoes to dry.
Material:
- walls made of high-quality impregnated cotton (canvas) with a weight of 280g/sqm (most sellers offer thinner 260g material) reinforced with ripstop mesh connected to polyester. This ensures waterproofing and excellent breathability. Wall seams are glued to prevent material stretching and leaking during rain. 4 main openings (2 entrances and 2 windows) and 2 skylight windows are protected by mosquito nets and shutters from the inside and outside, allowing for perfect temperature regulation inside. On colder nights, we close the openings from both sides, on warmer ones, we leave only the mosquito nets open. This provides a cool feeling even in very hot weather.
- awning - waterproof 420D Oxford polyester. An additional frame ensures airflow between the awning and the tent roof. Two professional foils are installed above the skylight windows in the awning.
