Roof Boxes:
They are made of 3 mm laser-cut and folded aluminum sheet.
The D-rings are screwed in with enough pressure not to rattle if not fastened, but allow for manual folding and unfolding.
On each side, there are holes so that two or more trays can be connected together.
The aluminum roof tray can be used as a roof rack for securing other items such as jerry cans, bags, or other car storage compartments using securing straps. Laser-cut aluminum remains in its original finish.
The roof rack is designed for use on various roof support systems with little or no need for additional engineering on your part. A series of laser-cut holes in the bottom of the tray are designed to screw the tray to the roof support system and are positioned not to overlap with the ridges on the bottom of the Nomad boxes.
Optional security arch with secure tubular locks and dust covers:
They include mounting on the tray and must be ordered together. The security aluminum bar connects to two high-security tubular locks, with 4 keys and dust covers. When the security arch is not needed, it can be folded flat at a 90° angle before placing the boxes on the tray. The arch will not interfere with the containers or securing straps. Hooked under the folded side of the tray, it will not rattle or rotate.
The cross-head screws of the locks are secured with a durable thread protection to prevent theft.
