This is a complete suspension lift kit for the Suzuki Grand Vitara II car, consisting of front McPherson spacers with pins and nuts, rear shock absorber spacers, and rear polyurethane spring pads. The kit also includes two spacers to protect the upper cushion of the front shock absorbers - they should be inserted into the middle of the steel front McPherson spacers. It fits 3 and 5-door versions as well as all engine versions.
The kit improves approach angles, descent angles, and ramp angle, allowing for the installation of larger tires without compromising vehicle handling on hardened surfaces. After installing this lift, the car handles much better when overcoming larger off-road obstacles.
One of the advantages of our kits is that in case the shock absorbers or springs wear out and need replacement, there is no need to purchase much more expensive lift components because we always install standard shock absorbers and springs in our kits, which offer a much wider selection and significantly lower prices, but above all, there are no availability issues.
The installation starts with disassembling the front McPherson struts and knocking out the mounting pins (on top). Longer pins from the kit are then driven in their place, front steel spacers are placed on them along with small shock absorber spacers (upper mounting), and the whole assembly is screwed onto the vehicle. Polyurethane spring pads are installed on the rear axle, and shock absorber spacers are screwed to their upper mounts. For cars with xenon headlights, the headlight leveling sensor at the rear axle needs to be extended.
After installing the lift, it is necessary to measure and, if necessary, correct the suspension geometry. In most cases, eccentric bolts are needed to adjust the wheel camber angle, also available from us (index: LSSM3).
