The massive body of the flashlight is made of lightweight aircraft-grade aluminum A6061-T6, highly resistant to damage yet lightweight. The surface of the flashlight has undergone HAIII type anodizing. This is the most advanced anodizing method, also known as hard anodizing, providing the surface with hardness up to 65 on the Rockwell scale. The hard oxide coating is an excellent insulator, extremely resistant to abrasion and scratching.
