4x4 Wheel Alignment:
Is your vehicle not driving straight? Does the steering wheel behave strangely? Are you experiencing shimmy or Death Wobble? Visit us for a wheel alignment! We will identify the reasons behind your vehicle's handling issues—whether you drive a Jeep, Toyota, or Nissan. Common causes include:

  • Worn-out ball joints, tie rod ends, sway bars, panhard rods, control arms.
  • Bent components.
  • Incorrect geometry settings applied after a lift, following standard factory specifications.

What is Death Wobble in a Jeep?
Death Wobble is a phenomenon that can occur in vehicles such as the Jeep Wrangler. It is a violent shaking of the steering system that causes the steering wheel to move uncontrollably while the wheels oscillate side to side. When Death Wobble occurs, controlling the Wrangler becomes extremely difficult, and the only way to manage it is to slow down or stop completely.

Death Wobble differs from typical vibrations caused by unbalanced wheels, as it is far more intense and unsettling. This issue most commonly arises at speeds above 50 km/h, often after driving over bumps or potholes. However, it can also occur below 50 km/h. There are many myths about Death Wobble, including the belief that it only affects lifted Jeeps. In reality, any vehicle with a solid front axle is at risk.

Suspension upgrades, such as lift kits, may increase the likelihood of experiencing this issue. Death Wobble can affect both new and old Jeep models, including the legendary Willys. If you have encountered this problem, there are several strategies to address it. It is crucial to thoroughly inspect the suspension system, wheel alignment, and other vehicle components to identify and eliminate the root cause of the vibrations.
