Vacuum pump relocation kit for Jeep JK Wrangler from 2012 and newer models moves the vacuum pump (located at the front frame rail) to the engine compartment.
Features include:
Fits 2012 - 2018 JK Wranglers
Relocates the vacuum pump
1/8” laser cut and formed bracket
Distinctive gold zinc finish
MetalCloak "M" branding
Factory mounting location compatibility
All necessary hardware included
Made in the USA
Relocating the vacuum pump is a necessary project to allow the installation of MetalCloak bumpers and other winch bumpers.
Finished with our distinctive gold zinc, the bracket will add a long-lasting custom look, showcasing the MetalCloak "M" cutout, letting other Jeepers know you support USA-made products.
Note: According to "sources," the reason Jeep moved the canister from the engine compartment down to the frame rails is that it makes a slight pumping noise, and they wanted this noise to be as far away from the driver as possible. Moving the canister does not negatively affect any of the Jeep's systems.
