The 273 mm blade is made of durable carbon steel, coated with a black anti-corrosion layer. The carbon steel used holds its sharpness well, easy to sharpen in the field, and thanks to its high flexibility, it is also resistant to deformation.
The spine of the blade has a fully functional saw almost along its entire length, which will easily handle thick wood branches. The ergonomic handle of the Gator Junior machete is made of flexible material, good at shock absorption, and provides a secure and comfortable grip. The handle is long enough to operate the machete with both hands successfully. At the end of the handle, there is a hole through which a securing cord is threaded. For carrying the machete on the belt, a reinforced sheath made of ballistic nylon, resistant to mechanical impact and mold, is used.
