SmartCap Canopy for Jeep Gladiator – Functionality and Durability Combined

The first step in this project was the addition of a SmartCap canopy — an incredibly robust and functional stainless steel system designed specifically for demanding off-road use. It’s a great alternative to traditional fiberglass hardtops — stronger, easier to maintain, and most importantly — fully modular.

The SmartCap not only increases cargo space but also allows for the integration of drawer systems, side-access panels, interior lighting, power setups, or roof racks. On the Jeep Gladiator, it fits like a glove and maintains the vehicle’s aggressive off-road styling.

Although we didn’t install the canopy ourselves in this case — the customer picked it up from us and mounted it independently — it’s worth noting that we also offer full installation support for SmartCap and other canopy systems.

Front Runner Load Bars – Solid Base for Gear and Roof Tent

Next came the foundation — installing Front Runner load bars directly onto the SmartCap. These bars serve as a strong base for mounting additional overlanding gear — in this build, they were used to support a roof tent.
