Voswitch is a device that is the ideal solution for people who do not want to spend three weekends twisting cables and sculpting switches. It is a turnkey system that allows us to manage the electrical and electronic devices in our car and beyond. Due to the waterproof design of the panel and power module, we can use the VoSwitch in an expedition, a crossover, a zmote, a UTV, a quad bike, a motorbike and even a boat. Yes, the manufacturer of the VoSwitch is so sure of its waterproofness that it adds marine-appropriate button decals in the kit!
The VoSwitch has 8 programmable channels that we can customise to suit our current needs. We can set switching on together with starting the car, switching on from the panel, we can set flash modes - that is, pulsating light in flash (slow), strobe (fast) as well as combo.
Each channel is controlled by a 40A relay, and protected by a common 30A plate fuse. This means that it will handle up to approximately 350W. We can easily connect a ledbar for the whole roof. The protection of each channel means that if there is a short circuit in one unit, we don't lose the whole system, and replacement is quick and easy - the power module cover closes with two latches. This also applies to relays that would fail for some reason - we replace the relay itself.
Of course, the VoSwitch is not just for the lights - the manufacturer itself has anticipated this, adding a wide range of stickers in the kit designed to individualise the control panel - you will find, for example, stickers with differential lock symbols or the aforementioned boat instrument markings.
For conversion purists who care about every detail, the good news is that we can customise both the colour and intensity of the panel's backlighting. We can choose Blue, White, Red as well as Green.
Installation requires no soldering, no earthing up of wires - everything related to the VoSwitch is already prepared for installation, all wires already have earthing up. All that remains on your side is to do the same on the wires from the ledbars.
A connection cable between the control and power module is included, allowing us to place both modules in convenient locations without any problems.
